The Firebird nesting doll has hand painted images by artist Irina Kummer, who paints in the Palekh style. One of the most famous Russian tales is "Ivan Tsarevitch and the Grey Wolf". It is about Prince Ivan's quest to find the Firebird for his father, Tsar Ferapont. Along the way he meets a special friend, a Grey Wolf. Working together they seek the Firebird and soon find out that this is not an easy task. This is a wonderful doll for anyone who loved fairy tales or is a nesting doll collector.
